I have based my fees for each form typically required by retirees based on a 2018 study by the National Association of Tax Professionals:

Estimated fees by form:

            Form 1040: $  300.00

            Schedule A: $  150.00

            Schedule C: $  150.00

            Schedule D: $  200.00

            Schedule E: $  200.00

Your actual fee may vary from this estimate, depending on the volume and complexity of the items required for each form at the rate of $125.00 per hour.

I have been a CPA in Florida since 1994, and have provided accounting, auditing, and tax services to individuals, corporations, and not-for-profits.  Now I am able to focus on what I enjoy the most, which is helping retirees navigate through the tax code.
